About me
Hello and welcome to my site!
As you will read, I’m spending the year working as an Organisational Development Advisor for Africa 2000 Trust, in Windhoek, Namibia. Out here, I manage an environmental community outreach centre project in the rural Herero reserve of Ovitoto, near Okahandja. My role involves organising workshops, training and campaigns in the village to promote energy-efficient and eco-fabulous concepts and technologies. As you will read, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. But you don’t get anywhere if you don’t try!
But a little about me…
I’m 23 years old, from London. Last year I graduated from Edinburgh University in Social Anthropology with Development, and have decided to pursue a career in International Development, so this placement here in Namibia with VSO works out pretty well for that!
I’ve done a lot of charity work over the years, mostly working with children, and have a great interest in cultures and the way people live around the world, so I get to count myself as one of the few people around that can honestly say they really enjoy their work (sorry if that sounds smug!).

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!! I hope you’re having a wonderful xmas mate. I’m at Denise’s doing a traditional thing. Well, take care mate and speak to you real soon. Love Andy
